Sustainability

Moyang proudly uses a process that collects waste from our oceans such as plastic bottles and ghost fishing nets. It is then regenerated into a new yarn, which we use to create our swimwear. We don’t believe in following the fast fashion hype, which is why our styles are designed to last you for years to come. Our seasonless and trendless pieces are created in small runs to avoid excess waste. Our packaging, price tags and cards are all made from recycled materials. 

Ethics

Our swimwear is manufactured in the kindest factory in all of Bali. They're not only lovely to their workers and pay them well above the minimum wage, but they also provide free health care and a cooked lunch everyday. Their working conditions have been approved by the Indonesian Government, so you know they're legit. Depending on the hours and days worked, overtime is paid at a rate of 1.5 and 3 times the hourly rate and is always optional. The work areas are all air-conditioned and offer working facilities comparable of those of any western establishment.
